  1. We are thrilled to have the new regrant feature!

    Please update the term to something like "Repeat Past Grant(s)." In the nonprofit world, regrant has a specific meaning - it means when an organization receives money and then grants it back out (like flow-through dollars one org might receive from another).

  2. Our clients can currently establish a recurring gift into their Donor-Advised Fund. However, they have no access to manage that gift themselves. They must contact our organization to make any changes. Users are accustomed to things like online bills where they can manage their transactions and payment methods themselves. Please add a way for the donors to manage their own recurring gifts. This should include being able to change the amount, the frequency, and the payment method (such as updating to a new payment method if their credit card was lost/stolen & cancelled).   5. Add Ability to edit error messages in FCCP. (Example: a user forgot which email they use to login to our portal and tried to hit "forgot password" link. But the error code simply read "The email failed." vs a better error code would be "that email does not exist in our system" or "no user with that email"

  6. On the Verify an Account (MFA setup) link to the Microsoft and Twillio apps (both apple and google) rather than require the user to search the store on their own. This may help users not fall into scams of paying for apps. For example, searching apple for "MS Authenticator App" results in the top listing for a paid app.

    Or add to this page that both options are free, if a user has a paid app they have the wrong app.

  7. In the FC Portal Saved Reccomendations grid, there does not appear to be a column available to show the donor when their grant is scheduled to be paid. Making this column available to display in the grid would cut donn on donor confusion and calls. (See Case #00016068 for more detail.)

  8. When our donor advised fund holders make a grant recommendation, they would like to see a recap of the grant recommendation on the final page before hitting the submit button. The final page lists the details for "Acknowledgment" and has a subtitle for "Review and Submit" but doesn't actually contain any grant information to be reviewed before submitting.

  9. Currently fund holders can run fund statement reports for periods that are not complete. For example, on 10/1 someone could run a report for 9/1-9/30, however as of 10/1 we haven't run month end processes. If we could limit the to date on reports somewhere in business rules, then each month we could advance the date after we run our month end close routines.

  10. Similar to the Grant request/recommendation feature where you can submit a recurring grant to an outside agency, we would like to request the ability to include a recurring option for interfund transfers to another charitable fund housed at our Foundation.

Please have the app issue intelligible passwords like our previous portal system generated, such as “Goldenrod@25” or “3*greenGRASS.” People have trouble correctly reading and retyping gobbledygook like ”2dhmb@bP2dhmb@bP.,” as has become apparent as we have assisted users. Please also make sure that punctuation marks do not appear at the end of the password, as they can be misinterpreted as grammatically ending the sentence instead of as part of the password.

  12. When a fundholder requests a recurring grant from their fund, they don’t have a way of managing them after the fact. Donors need a way to cancel or modify their recurring grants.

  13. Recently, NPact added functionality to allow fund advisors to copy and share a link to the public for making donations to their fund. However, this requires each individual fund to be made public in FCG. If the fund is not made public, the user received a message that says, "This fund is not public so only registered users with access to this fund will be able to access it. Do you want to continue?" None of our funds are public, so these links would not work for any of our clients. Ideally, we would like these fundraising links to not…

  14. Each page of FCCP should have a setting in Page Settings allowing a block of custom text at the top of the page, under the page title. It could be used for special instructions for that page or however the customer wants to use it. For example, on the reports page, we could add a paragraph of text explaining when reports are updated at month end.

  15. When making a grant request, donors are required to upload Committee Minutes to prove approval of grant. Currently, there is no function to allow for an attachment in the grant request form. The Vendor portal has an upload link to provide an I-9, we would like a similar link available to turn on for a grant request.

  17. When a user is prompted to configure their MFA settings, the mobile authenticator app method is automatically selected by default. Please remove the automatic check mark selecting this method so that the user must actively choose one of the authentication methods.

  18. Please identify the MFA text option as "text" in the "My account" area of the portal. Currently it appears as "SMS," if it is the option the user selected, and many people do not know what SMS means. It would also be helpful if you would spell out "Multi-factor authentication," since many people do not recognize the acronym MFA.

  20. Currently, the MFA configurations are not customizable per organization. Users can select to authenticate via call, text, or mobile app. Additionally, they can use either the Microsoft Authenticator or Twilio Authy apps. Most of our clients are older and this is simply too much to choose from. We would prefer to offer only the call and text option. If we have to offer an app option, we only want to offer the Microsoft app. We do NOT like the Twilio app and do not want to offer it. We will be launching MFA to our clients soon, and we know…
