Add the ability to donate to a fund in DonorCentral
It would be good if DonorCentral had the feature where an advisor or donor could donate to their fund and also have the ability for giving opportunities to be able to be configured for the wider public.

Offer streamlined recurrence intervals of Quarterly, Semi Annual and Annual which would be based on the start date selected.
Allow intervals in the recurrence section of the recommendation form to be Quarterly, Semi Annual & Annual and remove the ‘Number’ field. The recurrence schedule would be based on start dates.
Quarterly would happen every 3 months from start date, Semi Annual would be every 6 months from start date and Annual would be every 12 months from start date. The options presented to the DA would be Quarterly, Semi Annual & Annual with the scheduling being done in the background.1 vote -
Add Pledge and Scholarship Pages to DonorCentral
Currently there are Grants and Gifts pages in DonorCentral but no pages for Pledges or Scholarships. Would be nice to have separate pages for those.

Add ability for grantee list to be controlled on fund or advisor level in DonorCentral
Currently, all grantees are available for all advisors when submitting a grant recommendation. This list of grantees cannot be controlled on the fund or advisor level.

It would be good if DonorCentral had a feature where donors or advisors could request a change to the investments on funds and also related investment strategies. There could potentially be a queue in FIMS where these requests would be processed.

Add ability for an advisor to request to establish a new fund in DonorCentral
It would good if DonorCentral had a feature where a donor or advisor could fill out a request to establish a new fund. There could then be queue inside of FIMS by which foundation staff could process those requests.

Add the ability to only submit a recommendation to a list of grantees that falls within a fund's designation in DonorCentral
If a fund is designated for a certain purpose and interest area, add logic to DonorCentral to only present a list of grantees that are within the fund's designation and prevent showing grantees that fall outside of the fund's designation from appearing in list of grantees to choose from when recommending a grant.
Currently, there is no way to prevent a donor or advisor from creating a grant recommendation to a grantee who falls outside of the fund's designation.

Add Reports to DonorCentral
It would be good if DonorCentral had a menu of reports such as fund balances, grant and gift history, investments.
Currently, you can export information out of DonorCentral in a spreadsheet but having reports that could be run would be a good feature.

Add a documents page for Gift Acknowledgements, Grant and Pledge Letters
Currently in DonorCentral you can upload gift acknowledgements, grant and pledge letters to the individual grant and gift records. Would be good to have a page where the advisor could see all of those documents in one place.

Add ability to share files only to certain advisors or group of advisors in DonorCentral
Currently, on the Resources tab in DonorCentral you can upload public documents that all advisors in DonorCentral see. Would be good to be able to have the ability to share files with only certain users or groups of users.

Add DonorCentral demo site or walk-through video for prospective fundholders
Prospective fundholders may wish to see the platform they'd be using to recommend grants and evaluate that tool against competitors. Short of setting up a dummy account (a heavy lift for staff and not ideal to maintain clean data) for them to use or providing an in-person demo (thereby releasing financial information to unrelated parties), there is no way to give them a glimpse of DonorCentral. A walkthrough video would be most practical and safe time for foundation staff.

Ability to automatically email fund holders when a new statement has been uploaded to DonorCentral
Currently we have to manually email all fund holders using a 3rd party email tool, whenever we've uploaded new statements to DCNXT. It would be nice if DCNXT could automaticlaly email when it occurs.

Have fund advisor name appear Recommendation submission confirmation email
Recommendation submission confirmation email goes the advisor's email address that recommended the grant. We save these emails as permanent record for audit purpose. It would be helpful to have the Advisor Name print in the body of the email message as well and with the profile ID would be a bonus too.

Add ability to download multiple fund statements at once into a single PDF
Staff is asking to have the ability to pull multiple fund statements at a time. Users would be able to select statements from any of the funds they have access to to create a single PDF file of all the statements. The statements may or may not be consecutive dates.
Example 1
Fundholder has 34 funds. They want the most current fund statements of all the scholarship funds. There are 12 scholarship funds. They select these 12 funds, select 'most recent' fund statements and a single PDF is created which contains all 12 statements.

Allow the SPENDABLE BALANCE to DECREASE as Grant Requests are SUBMITTED
Fundholders would NOT overspend their Spendable Balance. Kind of crucial :). AND based on our experience, this is how DC used to operate until rather recently.

Adding email addresses to the gift export donors can pull for gifts made into their fund.
Gift Export on Funds page in DonorCentral:
We have many donors who would like to send a thank you for a gift that has been made into their fund. Sometimes donors would like to send an email instead of a note. We are trying to have the donors pull this report instead of it falling back on the department. .... we wish the gift export would provide email addresses too.

DCNXT admins should receive an email when a nightly upload from FIMS does not occur.

Would be really helpful if a recurring grant did NOT have to be cancelled to be changed.

DonorCentral notification to user and staff of expired recurring grants
Since we don't have any kind of admin reporting any longer to know what donors have created in the way of recurring recommendations, it would be very helpful for both the staff and the donor to be notified that a recurring grant has ended. Part of the convenience of the recurring grant is you create it and somewhat forget it. But you may also forget when it is set to be completed, too.

Add ability to upload files to specific funds or users
Staff have requested the ability to upload files to a specific user or fund. There are various types of information that are fund or donor specific which need to be shared.
