  1. Create an App for DonorCentral

    Our donors are used to the latest and greatest technology. As a growing Community Foundation we need to have tools available to better target the next generation of donors.

  2. Profile 2 email in FIMS needs to be able to access DonorCentral in addition to profile 1 email

    Our Donors are consistently asking for this. The way the Blackbaud ID works they are creating IDs that aren't attaching because they are using the partner email address. Foundation staff is having to litter FIMS with extra separate profiles to accommodate this need. it is creating significantly more work for staff and significant frustration for donors.

    The DonorCentral user can use the email address that is listed on the Profile 2 tab of the profile record as long as that email address is also on the Profile 1 tab and also as long as that email is not on the Profile 1 tab of another profile that has DonorCentral access.

    DonorCentral access is coded to look at the Profile 1 tab of the profile record for a unique email address that does not exist on another profile record.

    We recommend using the system integrity report, using the option to Check DC Email Validation to check the system for emails that exist on more than one profile:

  3. Allow DonorCentral Fund Market Value column heading to display 'Fiscal Year' vs 'Calendar Year'.

    DonorCentral allows the option to report on fiscal year vs calendar year and yet the Market Value column heading is hardcoded as 'Calendar Year'. This is confusing for our donors and the column heading should match what is defined in DonorCentral Options 'System> BaseYearOn> Fiscal'.

  4. Ability to select Fiscal year or Calendar Year for DC NXT

    Right now only calendar year is an option for DC NXT. The FIMS client should have a choice to use calendar or the fiscal year based on FIMS calendar set up.
