  1. When fundholders make grant recommendations, only grantees in FIMS with the DonorCentral Affiliation can be searched and found in the DC recommendation process.

    This raises barriers to funding by requiring fundholders to enter information already in the database. This leads to more calls or emails to staff making recommendations or fundholders giving up on using the system in general.

    What should happen:

    • Any new grantee created by the DC Suggestion Import should have the DonorCentral Affiliation added automatically.
    • Any new grant matched by the DC Suggestion Import to a Profile in FIMS without the DonorCentral Affiliation should have that Affiliation…

    New grantees created by the DC suggestion import process can have the DC affiliation code added automatically. Staff can also choose an existing profile that does not have a grantee record and one will be added along with DC Affiliation code:

    When selecting an existing profile that does not have an existing grantee record or DC Affiliation code, there is an error that occurs which we are investigating:
