Reports - Add a Description Field for canned reports and make description required when users create new report
Add a description field for all of our canned reports. Also need to make “Description” a required field when users create a new report. For creating training materials and instructional design efforts, I need to know the reports that are included in GE NXT and what their outputs are. What their business application is or use case.
Additionally, after speaking with Jeff C. regarding how this GE NXT page below presents, we both feel an enhancement to the product should be an additional column added to the below view that would include a report description. And, something in the help files that includes a description of the report and its outputs.
Note that there is already a GRReports.Description field, and the editor modal has the field already. It just needs to be added to the grid’s underlying SQL View.
