  1. The current HTML-based correspondence editor is missing many key features we need to generate documents that align with our print standards. We need to be able to add headers\footers, justify text blocks, and generally need the basic features of a rich text editor that aren't available in the current editor. If the current editor would even allow us to apply a custom stylesheet with media settings, that would be a step, but the current editor does not meet our needs.

  2. Incorporate the ability to schedule an automated email to notify a grantee of an upcoming report due (or past report due) at the time the award is made. Ex: While awarding a grant, the grants admin can send the award notification, assign the report(s), and schedule automated emails for report reminders.

  3. For organizations that have different legal names and DBA names, it would be helpful to have a place for an alias that would allow someone to find the record either by it's legal name or it's DBA name.

  5. In GE/NXT Cloud the Grant History is sorted newer to older, but Proposal History is sorted older to newer, and you can't sort by columns. Please make this consistent (newer to older) and allow users to sort columns.

  6. The dashboard (including pie chart and bar graph) is irrelevant to the work I need to do in the Grants page. Yet there it is taking up the entire screen, so that every single time I access the page, I need to scroll past it in order to get to the grants data. Please either make the dashboard hideable (preferably with a default that can be set to hide it) or move it elsewhere.

  7. In GE Classic, we can open a processed Online Grant Request that established a recurring (designated) grant record and view the start date and end date that the fund advisor originally submitted. However, when we open the same request in FCG, we cannot see those dates. We can only see the checkbox indicating the request was for recurring payments and the frequency. Please make the start & end dates visible on the Online Grant Request record in FCG as well. This is information we have to refer back to often.

  8. In Classic GE the proposal number has a link to the proposal. In GE/NXT Cloud, the link is in the proposal title which is an optional text field that has not been used consistently. Please link the proposal number instead of the proposal title.

It would be very helpful to have a notification appear in the bell at the top right of the screen in foundation cloud, when a recurring grant is coming due to be created, in the designated grants module. Now, I have to make a note to myself in my calendar every week to go into designated grants and look around for grants that need to be created.

  10. On a grant record, there is a field called "Notes to Staff" in the Grant Details. Fund Advisors can submit information in that field on the Grant Recommendation form if they need to tell our staff something important about their grant or how it is to be processed. In a Check Run, there are two grids that display grants - "Payments on this Check Run" and "Available Grant Payments." In each of these grids, the "Notes to Staff" field is not an available field to display in the grid. This field includes important information from the client, and we need…

  11. I was pleased that copying grant requests was added to FDN cloud. But surprised and a little dismayed that the recepient info is copied into the new grant request as well. Also into the payment fields, so, that info needs to be changed as well. Which takes time I'm trying to avoid. Copying grants in GE Classic was great when a fund advisor who does not use Spectrum would give us a list of grant requests we would need to manually enter, all with different recepients and different grant amounts. 99.9% of our fund advisors give to organizations just once…

  13. We would like to have the Grant details section to have two boxes for Anonymous grants, A box to specify if the fund id anonymous and a box for if the donor is anonymous.
    Currently the grant details section only has a box to specify it is anonymous, but it doesn’t break it down. The Grant Recommendation page currently has this option.
    It would be more efficient to have both boxes also present on the Grant details page.

  14. Incorporate a way to notify staff outside of the system that there are items that need addressed? Historically, our portal use by donors has been very limited, having someone constantly logging in and checking, is helpful but having an email sent to notify of the actions pending would be more productive.

  15. In Foundation Cloud, I can't figure out how to search amongst all grants using the GrantDescription field. Description is not available as a filter, or a column in grants view. You can search in descriptions for grants in Classic in the all grants view. I find this very handy for looking for grants going to a certain program or area to a recipient organization. I see that you can use the “Designation” field for a query. But the conditions are confusing to me: BETWEEN, NOT LIKE, LIKE, IS NULL, IS NOT NULL? What would I use for “contains” if I…

  16. The requestor is not visible in the Grant Details screen in Cloud, upon entering new grants. This is problematic, because it seems Cloud assigns a requestor using some sort of unknown default, and this is not always accurate. The requestor was visible and editable in Classic upon entering new grants. Please also make this editable in Cloud.

  17. For grants that are generated from proposal, I would like to have the proposal title in the Check Designation Configuration.

    We often have multiple grants for a single organization. Having Proposal Title in the Check Designation would be very helpful. We currently have to run agreement merges from the proposal because the Title is not available on the Grant record.

  19. We need a new query table for grant queries that lists the acknowledgement from the Fund. Not all grants start on the portal. As it is currently, the query view is leveraging acknowledgement details from the online grant request. That makes it difficult to use correspondence templates on grant records that did not start from a request form. Please, make available the Default Acknowledgment Letter Addressee data fields, which are located on the fund tile from within a grant record.

  20. When importing grants in FCG, don't require the email or address fields for payee or grantee. The import process appears to search and link to existing constituents, which makes importing this data redundant. This information wasn't required when importing in GC Classic.
