  1. When a customer has both RENXT, FENXT, and NPact products, we need the ability for vendor/grantee address updates that flow from either RENXT or Foundation Cloud to update in FENXT. We believed and were told by NPact this was a feature of Sync Harmony, but just found out it actually isn't.

  2. When processing scholarships, most of the time the students don’t have a constituent record in the CRM. However, if the foundation is awarding the student a grant, then they want the student in the CRM. On the scholarship batch, we need the ability to do a CRM lookup (to avoid potential duplicates). If not found, then create a constituent record for the student in CRM.

  4. Currently GE NXT allows multiple characteristic values on the same record, and this is not configurable. (For example, a grant could have three separate “Population Impacted” characteristic values for Youth, Elderly, and Low Income populations). There are times when a foundation wants a characteristic to only be set once per record. (For example, a foundation may want only allow a Grant to get a single “NTEE Code” characteristic value for reporting purposes).

    This change would involve:

    A configuration change, allowing each characteristic to “Allow Multiple Values” (default to True for backward compatibility)

  5. It would be convenient if I could have the option to add a requestor to a fund if it doesn’t have one when I select it to use on a grant.

    Example:

    I’m creating a designated grant and I choose the Inman Family Scholarship Endowment. There are no requestor assigned to this fund so I am unable to use this fund. There isn’t a quick way to navigate to the fund to add a requestor, so It would be convenient if there would be a button to add a requestor if there isn’t one.

  6. Add a description field for all of our canned reports. Also need to make “Description” a required field when users create a new report. For creating training materials and instructional design efforts, I need to know the reports that are included in GE NXT and what their outputs are. What their business application is or use case.
    Additionally, after speaking with Jeff C. regarding how this GE NXT page below presents, we both feel an enhancement to the product should be an additional column added to the below view that would include a report description. And, something in the help…

  13. Our accounting controls require the CFO to Approve invoices. Having the invoices created with a Status of Approved forces us to take additional steps to switch them to Pending so that they align with our accounting processes.
    This is a common control required by auditors and accounts payable has a built-in Invoice Approval utility.

  14. Add Fund/Scholarship Fund as a Criteria in Reviews--App Groups.

    Add an OR option to the Criteria so that it can function for multiple Criteria (for example Field is Major, Value can equal Business, Finance, or Investments).

    For GPA fields/number fields add the possiblity of Greater Than, Equal To, Less Than (for example GPA>=2.75).
    If there is a scholarship addendum, make that addendum a criteria without having to fill in a Value. Or if someone completes the Addendum, make the value possiblities Blank/Not Blank.

  15. When editing the HTML for a web app and going into full-screen mode, it would be helpful if the field list could be added to the right, and a Preview button be available there as well.

  16. When adding an organization to a web user, the list should only show records that are marked as “organizations” in the CRM – individuals should not show.

    Grants > Constituents > Open a constituent that has a web user (or make one) > Add org > Search > List shows all constituents, should only be organizations.
