  1. We think custom fields aka profile fields should also be on Fund and Constituent records. This way those records could have more robust data and then those fields could also be inherited by grant or proposal records, the way that characteristics are.

  2. Create the ability to require characteristics on records, ideally by grant type (i.e. for a DAF grant, this type of characteristic is required). This would greatly improve our user data entry error/missed fields.

  3. We would like to access our FC data directly in Microsoft PowerBI using a connector, like Blackbaud has. https://github.com/blackbaud/powerbi-connector

    This would permit us to bring our RE, FE, and FC data into one reporting tool, since RE and FE data can already be accessed.

  4. We announce our grant awards to web users via FC's email templates (edited). Auditors request a copy of the award letters and we are unable to produce the entire email message without copy/paste workarounds. We would like to open the correspondence in Grants on the Documents tile and see the entire email (as you do in Outlook), then print if necessary.

  5. Board Members can be added to Dockets to provide approvals. However, they could decline their approval. FCG considers any submission an "approval", so even "denied" approvals make it look like the docket has been approved. Please enhance Dockets to take into consideration the approval status.

  6. When utilizing the “Copy To” feature on Grant Batches, the 1st payment on the grant is always being used. In some use cases, we may want to use other payments on the grant outside of the 1st.

If the “Inherit characteristics” for grants boxes are checked in Business Rules, regardless if the user checks the “Inherit Characteristics from Fund” or “Inherit Characteristics from Recipient” when creating a grant from a proposal, the created grant will always inherit characteristics. This is confusing as if I don’t check them, I would think characteristics would not be inherited.

  8. Addresses with the "Do Not Mail" flag do not sync into FCG. It is possible we would need to mail a check from FCG without soliciting in RE.

  9. When new users register in the Portal, staff has the option to deny their roles and delete their web user through the PPQ. When this happens, the option to send the web user an email is not provided. We should be able to communicate to the deleted web user that we denied their role request.

  11. When developing a new workflow, I would like the ability to delete a step created in error. This option would only be available for workflows that have never been assigned.

  12. Add new query export options such as Excel, XML, JSON, PDF etc.

    Limiting the only export file option to CSV has created issues relating to the automatic CSV formatting that occurs upon export. Providing alternative options (i.e. XLSX) will provide users with workarounds to potential issues involving data deformation.

    Example: Essay questions in applications become broken apart into sections when exported as a query. This is an automatic occurrence that is caused by the formatting of a CSV file. This issue cannot be circumvented, as the only option to export is CSV.

  13. Recurring grants to automatically pull into the Grant Batch each month when they are scheduled to be paid. This would still allow the user to vet the organization before it is set to invoicing.

  14. When viewing Grant History for a grantee or fund, when there is a transfer the Payee/Recipient fields are blank. This is correct, since there are no payee or recipients for transfers, only a Target Fund. When a Transfer shows in the Grant History list, insert Target Fund into the Payee/Recipient Fields. You could also accomplish this by adding Payee and Recipient fields, hidden, to all Transfers, that mirror the Target Fund field.

  16. We'd like the option to add specific application fields to the Submitted Proposal Apps grid. We currently have "Category" as a field in our application and we'd like to be able to view this information in the grid and be able to filter all the applications by it.

  17. We would like the ability to move created queries to different subfolders within FCG so that we can manage them more effectively. Currently, this functionality is only available in GE Classic as a drag and drop but cannot be done similarly in FCG.

  18. in database view you can go to all web users and be able to view on that screen what funds they are appoved to either view or be a fund advisor. in NXT there is no choice to show the fund on that page. can you please add "fund" so we can see this without having to open the fund itself each time. thanks
