  1. I have just started using GE NXT to process grants so that I can get used to the look and feel of the new platform. I noticed that there is no "Reset" link in the grant request that allows the default acknowledgement address to be prepopulated like there is GE Classic. This is used on a daily basis.

  2. The Fund Admin Role interacts with any other web user permissions. We have staff members who have personal Donor Advised Funds with us or other fund relationships as a result of their job. We have to create separate constituent accounts to ensure their other web user permissions do not interact with the Fund Admin role and create risk for elevated access to all fund relationships.

    I understand that some organizations may want staff to be able to take action of behalf of their fundholders using the Fund Admin role, but this is a risk for us. It would be great…

  3. We would like to be able to report out on portal registrations and usage. For example: of our #X of clients, X% have logged in, X% have made a grant through the portal, X% have used it in the last month. As a new client, it's very frustrating to not have a sense of client adoption of our new portal. There is no way to pull this information through the system.

  4. Our RE NXT is set up to use the following name format "John D. Doe" which means all of our constituent records imported in with that format. The inclusion of the middle initial throws off the FCG search and it doesn't find the record if you search "John Doe" and not "John D. Doe" - is it possible to adjust the search functionality to ignore the middle initial? This also throws off the duplicate search in the web processing queue, and when adding constituents.

    This should be noted during implementation so other clients don't make the same mistake.

  5. We often have to follow up with folks who have registered for the portal if there isn't a clear connection to a fund relationship. It would be great if there was a space in the web processing queue to make a comments so staff could document their outreach, and other staff could see pending response.

  7. The designated grant "Parent" record lists the grant history in order of oldest first. We have been using this function in GE Classic for a very long time and some of our parent records have hundreds of grants. The arrow up/down to resort by date DOES NOT WORK. Since it only displays 8 grants per screen, the forward and backward arrows are not efficient for a user. The page forward > only moves 1 page at a time after the 5th page, you've also missed an opportunity with not having a return to 1st< or go to end> option. This…

  8. A number of reasons to remove approval especially given the delay in Candid's webpage updates and the IRS webpage updates.

    Organizations that are manually approved (i.e., church, government, public school) not verified via Charity Check, could disaffiliate with denomination, and no longer meet the eligibility requirements.

    A public charity may get reclassified as private, the IRS assigns incorrect classification and org is waiting for correction. Having another option to Remove Approval would keep from paying grants when applicable.

Improve query functionality so ALL system fields are available in queries AND, allow for more advanced query statements a la RE and FE functionality so a user can build a query statement (without having to know SQL) with parenthesis, etc. so you can say ALL of these these filters and ANY of these filters, etc.

  10. Within the check run grid, it would be helpful for users to see a column representing each payment's payee status (are they already approved or do they require approval). That way an check batcher can see in aggregate any issues with payees prior to receiving the prompt on the error log. Would also help with batch review of payments vs. opening each grant one by one.

  12. Currently, whichever fund requestor was added to the fund FIRST (chronologically) defaults into the grant. This is not acceptable because fund requestors change, and there can be multiple. We need a way to control which fund requestor is going to default into a grant.

  13. In Foundation Cloud, I can't figure out how to search amongst all grants using the GrantDescription field. Description is not available as a filter, or a column in grants view. You can search in descriptions for grants in Classic in the all grants view. I find this very handy for looking for grants going to a certain program or area to a recipient organization. I see that you can use the “Designation” field for a query. But the conditions are confusing to me: BETWEEN, NOT LIKE, LIKE, IS NULL, IS NOT NULL? What would I use for “contains” if I…

  15. Adding a button so that text can be centered, aligned left or right with ease. Currently alignment can only be done in HTLM editor but it should be able to be done in the editor screen (the applies to the cloud and portal text editor).

  16. When selecting Grants to go onto a Check Run in GE Classic, we review the QuorumMet field. This field indicates to us if the grant was approved by the committee (ALL of our Grants must be approved). Only grants with a QuorumMet equal to Yes can go onto a Check Run and be paid. However, the QuorumMet field is not available in FCG. Please make this field/column available as soon as possible.

  17. In FCG, a grant ["History"] screen available on both fund and constituent records, that is comparable to the grant ["History"] screen in GE Classic.

    The current Grant ["History"] tile in FCG provide the ability to add all available grant ["History"] fields, and the ability to search and filter the results. I would also suggest that it be a full page tile, not limited to one-half the page.

  19. There are fields present on the Designated Grants screen in GE Classic which we rely on for processing that are not available on the Designated Grants screen in GENXT. They are the Recipient Name field and the Status field. Please add these options as columns and filterable fields.

  20. This is just a request for future development of GE NXT. When editing App Groups for Reviews It would also be very helpful if we could do the below:

    in the App group modal (Reviews > App groups > open > +Add Application):
    * see an additional column called "Status" (of the application)
    * be able to search/filter by "Status" and
    * be able to search/filter by "Applicant Name"
