  1. In Classic GE the proposal number has a link to the proposal. In GE/NXT Cloud, the link is in the proposal title which is an optional text field that has not been used consistently. Please link the proposal number instead of the proposal title.

  2. Adding a button so that text can be centered, aligned left or right with ease. Currently alignment can only be done in HTLM editor but it should be able to be done in the editor screen (the applies to the cloud and portal text editor).

  3. When selecting Grants to go onto a Check Run in GE Classic, we review the QuorumMet field. This field indicates to us if the grant was approved by the committee (ALL of our Grants must be approved). Only grants with a QuorumMet equal to Yes can go onto a Check Run and be paid. However, the QuorumMet field is not available in FCG. Please make this field/column available as soon as possible.

  4. In FCG, a grant ["History"] screen available on both fund and constituent records, that is comparable to the grant ["History"] screen in GE Classic.

    The current Grant ["History"] tile in FCG provide the ability to add all available grant ["History"] fields, and the ability to search and filter the results. I would also suggest that it be a full page tile, not limited to one-half the page.

I was wondering how could I go about adding "Today's Date" as a query field/merge field in our grant correspondence because it appears that only database fields are being pulled for correspondence. Currently, we do not have a database field that functions as such but we want our correspondence contain the day that we generated them as the date listed on the letters. Would it be possible to add "Today's Date" as a field in either Foundation Cloud or GE Classic?

  7. Is there a way to bring in the NTEE codes from Charity Evaluator?

    Feature Request: Surface the NTEE codes that Charity Evaluator pulls when checking for validity. We would like to see what the IRS is showing for these codes.

  8. There are fields present on the Designated Grants screen in GE Classic which we rely on for processing that are not available on the Designated Grants screen in GENXT. They are the Recipient Name field and the Status field. Please add these options as columns and filterable fields.

  10. A recent update limited the Grant History to a limit of 25 years in Business Rules. Remove this limit. Why not treat it like other parts of FC, where only the first X years are displayed, and the user has to press a button to view all. We shouldn't have to create a query to export to Excel to view the data. We paid for a system that displayed all Grant History, not just the most recent 25 years.

  11. After grant and payment creation, an FCG user is able to change the funds available on the grant. They can choose to add, update, or remove the Fund from the grant. These actions do not keep Payment Fund Components aligned, however, causing data inconsistencies (A payment fund component could have a fund that is NOT present on the grant).

  12. The designated grant "Parent" record lists the grant history in order of oldest first. We have been using this function in GE Classic for a very long time and some of our parent records have hundreds of grants. The arrow up/down to resort by date DOES NOT WORK. Since it only displays 8 grants per screen, the forward and backward arrows are not efficient for a user. The page forward > only moves 1 page at a time after the 5th page, you've also missed an opportunity with not having a return to 1st< or go to end> option. This…

  13. In GE Classic, the Alerts appear in the middle of the screen, are larger and clear (also) by hitting enter on keyboard. FCG alerts are tiny, in the corner of screen, can't re-size them and most importantly DON'T disappear when you move from that record to another. I once had about 10 alerts stacked up on my screen and couldn't identify which record, grant, fund, etc. any of them were associated with.

  14. FCG only rounds 2 decimal places when dividing percentage among multiple recipients. i.e. if you have a designated grant set to distribute 5% of the cash available by 3 recipients, and assign each recipient 33.33%, FCG does not recognize these figures as totaling 100% because it rounds to only two decimal places. If you increase 1 recipient percentage to 33.34%, FCG will let you generate grants, however the grant amounts are not equal. Improve query functionality so ALL system fields are available in queries AND, allow for more advanced query statements a la RE and FE functionality so a user can build a query statement (without having to know SQL) with parenthesis, etc. so you can say ALL of these these filters and ANY of these filters, etc.

  16. Add new query export options such as Excel, XML, JSON, PDF etc.

    Limiting the only export file option to CSV has created issues relating to the automatic CSV formatting that occurs upon export. Providing alternative options (i.e. XLSX) will provide users with workarounds to potential issues involving data deformation.

    Example: Essay questions in applications become broken apart into sections when exported as a query. This is an automatic occurrence that is caused by the formatting of a CSV file. This issue cannot be circumvented, as the only option to export is CSV.

  17. The "metrics" shown in the header on the various landing pages (Grants, Constituents, Funds, etc) should be re-evaluated to determine their use. Some are not really helpful, do not apply to everyone's dataset, or are buggy.

    Example of a bug: The "Active Funds" metric on the Funds landing page doesn't appear to be correct. There are way more active funds than the number that is shown.

  18. Incorporate a way to notify staff outside of the system that there are items that need addressed? Historically, our portal use by donors has been very limited, having someone constantly logging in and checking, is helpful but having an email sent to notify of the actions pending would be more productive.

  19. Currently when submitting a docket to the committee for review, we must navigate away from the docket screen and into the queries screen to generate the correspondence to the committee. This step seems longwinded, as there is a button within the Docket screen for "new batch correspondence", which we currently use to generate grant recipient letters.

  20. On a grant record, there is a field called "Notes to Staff" in the Grant Details. Fund Advisors can submit information in that field on the Grant Recommendation form if they need to tell our staff something important about their grant or how it is to be processed. In a Check Run, there are two grids that display grants - "Payments on this Check Run" and "Available Grant Payments."
