To be able to filter by "Type" on Check Run batches (a function we can do on GE Classic) when using FC.

Add an additional column to sync in FEProjectID from Finance System instead of setting FEProjectID using Fund Number in CRM System
Currently the FEProjectId is set be the CRM System using the Fund Number this can cause issues with creating invoices in the Finance system when the FEProjectID (RE Fund Number) in FCG does not match the project ID in FE.
It would be great to add a column in the fund grid to surface the FEProjectID from FENXT and use that in the API call when creating invoices in FENXT.

Web Organization Creation on Constituent Tiles
The “Create Web User” button on constituent records is incorrectly creating Individual web users for organization constituents (this would be the Organization, Account, or Contact record types in the CRM Systems). This causes a problem as we are creating web users when we want to be creating organizations.
Currently the only way to create an organization is by going to an Organization Admin web user in the PPQ OR creating the organization through portal registration.

Option to view or download documents in a grant proposal or final report
When reveiwing a grant application or final report, it would be great to have the option to view or download a document the grantee has uploaded. I usually just want to review the document without downloading. Now the only option is to download.

Fiscal Sponsor Payees and Fiscal Sponsee Recipients
Currently, our organization must only indicate a fiscal sponsor in both the recipient and payee fields when filling out a grant. Would it be possible to have payees be the fiscal sponsors and the recipients be the organizations actually receiving the funds for use?

Collect Social Insurance Number in a Secure field (Canadian Clients)
In Canada, we need to issue T4A tax forms to scholarship recipients annually. To do this we need to collect the applicant's Social Insurance Number (SIN). The SIN is sensitive information and should receive a higher level of protection from a cyber security standpoint. Raiser's Edge has a field for SIN on an Individual record that allows the number to be masked for any user that does not have special security rights.
I would like a special field that can collect and protect the SIN in the Spectrum Portal that also carries through to the FCG and possible RE.

In a DES Grant, allow interfund transfer to the same fund. We have multiple funds that capitalize a portion of their income to capital each year.

Set Initial Invoice Status to Pending when invoice are created in Accounts Payable
Our accounting controls require the CFO to Approve invoices. Having the invoices created with a Status of Approved forces us to take additional steps to switch them to Pending so that they align with our accounting processes.

Auto-populate Search with Last Name
In the Web Processing Queue, in the Web User Information screen, when using the Possible Duplicates-->Lookup, the system automatically populates the Constituent Search-->Name field with both the first and last name the web user entered into the Web User Information fields. However, this leads to not catching possible duplicates because of nicknames or middle initials. I would suggest only populating the field with the last name to catch more duplicates and have cleaner data.

Annual summary
Add to the "All-In-One" section of a fund, a new tab showing annual summary of gifts and grants for a fund. For an example, see FIMS's Fund Summary tab. It is a chart, by year, showing the largest gift, total gifts, largest grant, total grants. It helps staff see in one place how a fund has grown and granted out year by year.

Ability to customize Fund Config tile
Add the ability to customize the Fund Config tile on a Fund. Allow admin to turn off unused balances, rename balances, and hiding default finance accounts (since users don't need to see these on a daily basis).

Work with Blackbaud to permit FENXT vendor address updates from RENXT and Foundation Cloud.
When a customer has both RENXT, FENXT, and NPact products, we need the ability for vendor/grantee address updates that flow from either RENXT or Foundation Cloud to update in FENXT. We believed and were told by NPact this was a feature of Sync Harmony, but just found out it actually isn't.

Scholarship Batch - Add CRM lookup and create constituent function
When processing scholarships, most of the time the students don’t have a constituent record in the CRM. However, if the foundation is awarding the student a grant, then they want the student in the CRM. On the scholarship batch, we need the ability to do a CRM lookup (to avoid potential duplicates). If not found, then create a constituent record for the student in CRM.

If these fields aren’t filled in on a prerequisite step, then you can’t create the grant.

Characteristics - configure each characteristic to allow one/multiple values per record
Currently GE NXT allows multiple characteristic values on the same record, and this is not configurable. (For example, a grant could have three separate “Population Impacted” characteristic values for Youth, Elderly, and Low Income populations). There are times when a foundation wants a characteristic to only be set once per record. (For example, a foundation may want only allow a Grant to get a single “NTEE Code” characteristic value for reporting purposes).
This change would involve:
A configuration change, allowing each characteristic to “Allow Multiple Values” (default to True for backward compatibility)

Add a requestor to a fund option when selecting funds w/o requestors
It would be convenient if I could have the option to add a requestor to a fund if it doesn’t have one when I select it to use on a grant.
Example:
I’m creating a designated grant and I choose the Inman Family Scholarship Endowment. There are no requestor assigned to this fund so I am unable to use this fund. There isn’t a quick way to navigate to the fund to add a requestor, so It would be convenient if there would be a button to add a requestor if there isn’t one.

Reports - Add a Description Field for canned reports and make description required when users create new report
Add a description field for all of our canned reports. Also need to make “Description” a required field when users create a new report. For creating training materials and instructional design efforts, I need to know the reports that are included in GE NXT and what their outputs are. What their business application is or use case.
